Thank you for entering to win a business award at The ABBBAs.
Here are some guidelines to getting started:
Choose the category and award(s) you’d like to enter. There might be more than one award you’d like to enter – and that’s fine. Enter as many as you like. However, be mindful of the criteria for entering e.g. Best Startup needs to have been trading for less than two years, Best Micro needs to employ fewer than 5 employees etc.
Collate your evidence. Document your achievements to date and your USP. The judges may not have any knowledge of your business, so clearly show what makes you different and how you go ‘Above & Beyond’ to help either your customers, local residents or the wider community. Evidence is key so collate client testimonials, any credentials and supporting literature/images to support what you have stated.
Always be honest. The judges are usually experienced business owners, investors and experts so integrity is key. Where possible, give specific examples of where you go ‘Above & Beyond’ to provide evidence and help them with their decision making.
Although tickets to the general public have now sold out, tickets have been reserved for all shortlisted nominees. If you are shortlisted for an award, you will be notified after 8th September to book your ticket to the awards ceremony which takes place on 9th November 2023 at The Warren in Hayes.
