Yes, we would encourage you to enter as many categories as you think you / your business is relevant for. Remember to try and submit evidence alongside your application (such as testimonials, accreditations, photos etc)

There are so many reasons why entering awards can be great for you and your business. Here are just 11 of them.

The ABBBAs is an annual not-to-be-missed event held in the Bromley Borough, which attracts businesses large and small across the whole borough.

As an attendee, it’s an exciting event to be seen at and offers the opportunity to network with others, meet new people, see friends and colleagues and make new connections. You’ll enjoy an evening of amazing food, celebrations and entertainment. There is a real buzz in the air as we celebrate the Borough’s best businesses and individuals.

The evening commences with a pre-dinner drinks reception giving you the opportunity to settle in, network and catch up with others, followed by a scrumptious three-course meal and welcome speeches before the award celebrations commence.

Other highlights of the evening include entertainment that will have you on your feet dancing the night away.

At some point during the evening, we play a fun game (with a nominal fee to enter), to help raise funds for a local charity, giving you the chance to win a wonderful hamper filled with goodies from local businesses.

Anyone and everyone! Aside from the team behind The ABBBAs (Life In…Magazines), also in attendance will be sponsors of the event, judges, award nominees, plus plenty of businesses and organisations – from sole traders through to some of Bromley’s biggest businesses and some special VIPs.

We expect to welcome over 300 guests to the event. If you’re a business owner based in the London borough of Bromley, we guarantee an evening you won’t forget. You’ll meet some amazing people and create memories to last a lifetime – come along, we’d love to see you there!

The early bird ticket price is £66 (£80 including VAT), with the price increasing to £75 (£90 including VAT) from 31st May.

A table of ten costs £750 including VAT.

Last year’s event sold out in a matter of weeks, so you are advised to book early to secure your tickets and avoid disappointment.

You can opt for just 1 ticket or purchase a table of tickets (10) if you’d like to treat your team or best customers to a great night out – there’s no limit. There are reductions for people purchasing an ‘early bird’ ticket and a saving for those purchasing a table of 10 tickets.

The ABBBAs is being held at Oakley House, a stunning location that combines historic architecture with modern amenities.

By bus

Oakley House is served by a bus stop directly outside the entrance to the premises which is on the 61, 261, 320 and 358 routes. This makes the venue accessible by just one bus journey from areas such as Bromley, Orpington, Chislehurst, Crystal Palace, Lewisham, Beckenham, Petts Wood, Lee, Biggin Hill and Catford.

By train

The venue is centrally positioned just a ten-minute drive from several train stations on different lines, including Bromley South, Orpington, Hayes (Kent), Bickley and Petts Wood.

By car

Oakley House is located just off the A21 which runs from Lewisham connecting Catford, Bromley, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Pembury, Lamberhurst, and Hastings. It also connects to junction 4 of the M25. There is free parking (220 spaces) for attendees.

Yes, although there is a set menu for all attendees, the venue caters for all dietary requirements. Please ensure that you have told us about this when you book and pay for tickets.

The event commences at 6pm sharp and concludes at midnight. We suggest you arrive promptly to make the most of the pre-dinner drinks reception and the networking opportunity this offers.

We encourage all guests to stay for the post-awards celebrations, which features great entertainment and the opportunity for more networking.

There will be an opportunity to make a request to be seated next to or close to someone who you know will be attending or who has booked tickets. We can’t guarantee we will be able to meet all requirements, but we will endeavour to cater to requests. We’re unable to provide a seating plan prior to the awards evening, but this will be displayed at the venue on the night.
